This is especially useful for self-employed buyers, retirees and families who may have seasonal income, pension income or other financial commitments to factor in.

The broader message for caravan shoppers is reassuring but clear: finance options remain available, but the best outcome usually comes from preparation. Know the total amount you need to borrow, check the loan type suits the caravan you want to buy, and leave room for running costs after settlement.
